The annoying part was questionable, but Attai supposed that there were people who thought less of human life than others. He understood the meaning, though; life couldn’t exist without death. “That’s also true,” the teen concurred with a slight nod. The man’s body language made him tilt his head slightly. “Do you… have more to say?”
→ "Careful, children; you might just disappear.” A crooked grin stretched across his lips. Vin was seated on a rusty old railing, kicking his feet. He looked like he belonged there— this was Valhalla Syndicate territory after all.
Attai glanced up as the man spoke, though the words and posture seemed almost more playful than threatening. Maybe that was just the teen though. “I can agree with that. Tomorrow doesn’t come for everyone.” As an assassin, he knew that fact well, after all.
